α-Winding Coils (Inductors)

α-Winding Coils (Inductors)

What are α-Winding Coils?

α-winding (alpha-winding) coiling is a processing method in which both the start and end of the winding are located on the outer diameter side of the coil.
The product is called α-winding coil (alpha-winding) because its shape resembles the Greek letter "α".

Process results of α-Winding Coils

By using spring processing technology, we can produce springs faster than with conventional methods. In addition, we can flexibly respond to changes in the coil diameter or number of turns due to design changes.

We have a production technology group that considers automating secondary processes, etc.
For α-winding coils we are working on automating the insertion of insulating paper, which is a process that requires manual labor.
